Final entry to the garden is 45 minutes before closing.
In order to preserve the unique nature of this garden, and ensure access for all, we do not allow picnicking, weddings, tripods, or pets. Service animals are allowed in accordance with 2010 ADA Revised Requirements.
PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
To preserve a tranquil experience for all visitors, we do not allows tripods or specialized camera equipment during regular garden hours. Formal photo shoots are not allowed, examples include promotional, wedding, portrait, or fashion photography. No exceptions. Weekday mornings are an excellent time for photographers to visit the garden and enjoy a less crowded garden environment.

Wedding Policy
The Seattle Japanese Garden is not available as a venue for weddings. Other private event reservation requests can be directed to the ticket booth at (206) 684-4725 during operating hours.
